Our analytics laboratory, established in Geesthacht in 1992, is now headquartered in Hamburg. As an independent and owner-managed commercial laboratory, we stand for external quality control nationally and internationally. This includes GALAB locations in China, Peru, Singapore, and Turkey, as well as representatives in the Netherlands, the Philippines, and Ukraine. Our product portfolio ranges from the analysis of food, food packaging, sanitary products, industrial products, biopharmaceutical products, to environmental analyses regarding substances and contaminants. With over 30 years in the market, more than 1,000,000 analyses annually, and over 1,000 different analysis methods, GALAB is among the largest service laboratories for quality control throughout Europe.

We are currently looking for as soon as possible a:

Employee (m/f/d) for Sample Receipt

Sample Receipt | Permanent | Part-time (30h/week)

Tasks – Your Job:

• Receiving, incoming inspection, and coding of delivered lab samples
• Checking samples for completeness and damage
• Examining accompanying documents and forwarding to processing
• Labelling samples with predetermined barcodes and scanning
• Timely forwarding of samples to laboratories and observing storage specifics
• Independently arranging the dispatch of lab samples

Background – What You Bring:

• Successfully completed training as a logistics specialist (m/f/d) or comparable professional training
• First professional experience in logistics or warehousing
• Good PC skills
• Good German language skills and basic English skills
• Physical resilience
• Good comprehension skills and the ability to structure tasks well
• Concentrated and careful working style
• A likeable demeanor, helpfulness, and team spirit
